Nicely Done!

I'm a fan of word games and this one's very good. Very nice for your first fully developed Flash game. I like the gold tile idea, and the way they change when you reuse them. Static tiles are a drawback of inferior games. Keep it up!

Cool, but boring

I really enjoy the concept, but, in addition to agreeing with all the non-music-related comments beneath, I find this game gets boring way too quickly.

Creative

You have some very good questions in this quiz! I much enjoy the interface, the way that the text and buttons are themed to the questions. My only dislike is the fact that the music was very loud and it couldn't be disabled.

Yeah I agree it does need a STFU button
Thanks

Mistakes everywhere

I'd give you stars if I could find something right about this game. Firstly, you misspelled the title. It's GENIUS. Pick up a dictionary. Look up the meaning of irony.

Secondly, you have three buttons on the start page, but these buttons all do the same thing. Their colours mislead one into thinking they are different paths, or different categories, but they all just do the same thing.

Thirdly, THERE IS A MISTAKE IN THE FIRST QUESTION. 4 multiplied by 99 yields 396, not 393. Did you learn to spell and count from the same source?

Fourth, for the sequence question, you misspelled Remember.

Fifth, you have a question which is an OPINION. As if that weren't bad enough, the correct answer is, given your "genious" logic, "trick question." Yeah, that makes sense.

Sixth, your final question is a rhetorical tongue twister. There is no correct answer, but there is no incorrect answer either.

Seventh, there is no randomization, so this is not a test of knowledge, but of patience. It's just a multiple choice puzzle, and a very bad one at that. It's just click click click until you get the right answer, or rather, what you say is the right answer.

Eighth, what makes this test of genius calibre? Okay, so you have a bad math question, 2 pop culture questions for kids, a sequence memorization thing, a trick question, and a rhetorical question. Other than the third element, nothing has to do with genius. Just because you like something or you think something is, it does not mean it's true. People who think similarly to you are not geniuses. Those who think antithetically might be on to something.

And lastly, you put a replay button. Who would want to replay this?
A: Me
B: You
C: Nobody
D: Trick question!

Stellar (pardon the pun)

This game is absolutely amazing. The physics are flawless, the music is perfectly fitting, and it has a save feature? Wow! Some levels are quite difficult whilst others are rather simple and require parking the sun in a corner, especially on the harder difficulties.

All in all, great concept and brilliant execution.

Awesome remake

This is probably the best Pong remake I've ever played. Great job!

These difficulty levels are pretty spaced out. I won 10-0 on Medium but lost 10-2 on hard.

Watch your spelling

I encourage you to use of a dictionary. It's difficult to take what it is you have to say seriously when there's a word misspelled in every tip. (It took me a while to understand that "rely" meant "really," because "rely" is also a word.)

Sadly, your tips are true, and I have to give you props for saying the truth as it is.

sorry for that... Half english half russian person that i am... i know both languages and some words i screw in both.

Timer bugs

Simple game, but I enjoy the concept. It gets pretty hard later on once all you have is uncommon letters and no vowels at the bottom.

Anyway, I did encounter some bugs with the timer as have other users below. Sometimes it's three times as fast, sometimes it starts before all the blocks have fallen... You should try to fix these for future versions.

I've also accidentally hit "Main Menu" when going for "Check Word." Moving those buttons further apart or having a confirm message before exiting would also be much appreciated.

All in all, excellent game, though, especially for the second one you've made. Keep it up.

alexpof responds:

Thanks for your comment. I am still pretty new to making flash games so i realize that it is not perfect and i appreciate the constructive criticism. And i have heard from a few other people about the timer error but i have gone back countless times and i just can't repeat the bug. So i am not sure if it is something to do with your hardware or what but since i can't see the bug i don't know what i can do to fix it.

2 possible answers

For question #4 in the word scramble, pcereft unscrambles to both perfect and prefect. They should both be accepted.

It's all about the bounce shots...

I quite enjoy this game. I find it is fun, original, and bouncing shots off the wall in order to reach otherwise inaccessible areas is awesome. However, I must say that it progresses in difficulty WAY too slowly. This heavily decreases the fun factor of this game. I believe a classic Tetris level and height select would be great for Iron Works.

I'm just a dude who enjoys writing. So far, I've written a play, a long short story, and even a musical to which I composed and played the music. I've also written a screenplay for a school project, which has been produced by us.
