...It was probably better in your head

The main reason I didn't find this funny is because it uses too many small jokes that are disconnected from the main "plot." Many of these are more ridiculous than funny.

I did, however, enjoy the fine print at the end. In all honesty, that made this Flash for me.

I don't think it's a good idea

No disrespect to your animation skills or anything, but content-wise, this is just not the kind of thing I'd watch. Newgrounds is full of stuff like this already, and when I browse through the Flash Portal, I see plenty of random, contextless violence.

I enjoy movies with a decent story, maybe some humour or suspense... I'm just not into stuff like this.

i know my animation skills suck XD and i know this is just mindless violence but this is like my fourth ever flash, im gonna add sound and spend time on it and hoefully make it worthwhile. i appriciate this review ^_^

[American Pie]

Disgraceful

American Pie is one of the greatest songs ever written. "The day the music died," refers to a plane crash that killed Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and the Big Bopper. The song abstractly describes how rock 'n roll subsequently changed, and the effect it had on music, Don McLean and society on the whole.

Your video addresses none of this. It simply features some unidentifiable creature playing a guitar, although piano is the prevalent instrument in the song. You call this a "music video," although virtually none of this is timed to the song, especially not the playing of the instrument.

If you're going to ruin a song, at least choose a crappy song that isn't 8 and a half minutes long. For the record, I did watch the entire thing, and I want the last 8.5 minutes of my life back. I can't believe you actually put a "replay" button to this.

This flash had nothing to do with the song, and the song is about waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more than that, I'm afraid. At least 2 of the verses are entirely political and have nothing to do with Buddy Holly or rock 'n roll. Speaking of which... you seriously didn't hear the guitar at all? Good God!

Your title is the only thing I enjoyed about this movie. From the ridiculously long loader all the way to the gigantic rewind button, I wondered what this video was, and what purpose it served. As somebody who has actually written and performed in comedy, I found this to be very underwhelming.
Try going for something with wit next time. A parody of a parody is difficult to pull off, and this one wasn't exactly a success.

Of course, art like this is subjective. Maybe it's just me.

WHy not make something quality yourself before judging others work? Because you obviously don't know what quality work is, and you've never been able to pull it off yourself.

Relevance?

I think the animation in this video is pretty sweet and the fight itself, although very long, is entertaining. I am a big fan of Street Fighter, and I'm sorry, but I just don't see what this video has to go with anything. Keep up the great animation, but try to touch up your writing, plot lines and dialogue alike.

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Good use of the case recipe. The hyperlink in your comment does not work if you copy and pasted it because there is a space between the a and t in watch.
