I'm just a dude who enjoys writing. So far, I've written a novel, a long short story, and even a musical to which I composed and played the music. I've also written a screenplay for a school project, which has been produced by us.

You've really captured the pirate "feel" with this song. Excellently conceived and performed piece.
Best of luck with your musical.

Thank you brownspider! At this point I think the luck will help! There's nothin' like being stuck on something for months! XD Thanks!!!

I really enjoy the style in which this song is done. The beeping shows your source of inspiration. The noises that come in around 1:30 are quite unique, and unlike anything I've ever heard before. The part from 2:30 onwards is just pure sweet. Awesome song!

Thanks brownspider! I was really lookin' for different sounds to use in this piece, ones you don't usually hear, even in techno-holy-crap-it's-crazy music. The part at 1:30 I really experimented with so I'm glad it worked out! Thanks again brownspider!

Pretty sweet, good choice of voices. The only thing I would suggest would be to keep the lyrics.

This is really a beautiful piece. It honestly took you only half an hour to make?
Author's Response:
Thank you BrownSpider! Yeah, it really only took half an hour. XD All I did was sit down and straight score it for a piano and a flute, then I took bits and pieces from each and looped and edited them to different instruments. Then I composed a quick drum riff for the second half and voila! ^_^ I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the ten and review!!!

Cool loop. What's a "gutar?"

Great job! As for the percussion, I particularly enjoy its softness. I get really annoyed by trance and remixes where the percussion overpowers the melody, but this is the perfect counter. I really enjoy the melody and the general feel of the song. I find this to be more of a song about optimism than sadness, but that's just my interpretation.
Author's Response:
I have noticed the same problem with much of the trance music here. The songs are extremely beat driven but lack much melodic/harmonic drive. Percussion should be complimentary to these.
Thank you very much for the review. :)

The title mislead me; I was expecting human vocals.
Nevertheless, I really got down to the song and its beat. I normally don't like hip hop, but this track is great. Keep it up.

How do you write a song about a girl when there are no lyrics and the melody is static? I question how you must feel about this girl, because it really does not come through in the song. The track itself is decent, but the subject matter and the way it is addressed are questionable.

I agree with the very first reviewer: the beat just doesn't fit the subject matter. I also think that the level of MLK's speech should be increased, because it is overpowered by the music, and I'm certain that isn't the message you want to be sending.
Author's Response:
Thanks for the review.
I was trying to concentrate on the optimistic nature of MLK's speech, but I can see how it doesn't fit the subject matter. Next time I work with vocals (this track was sort of a "self introduction" into using vocal samples) I will try and adjust the levels more so that the speech isnt lost in the music.
Thanks again for the review. :)

You're right, I did like this better than Bye Baby Bye. I like the way the vocals sound, and the lyrics are a step up from the commercial stuff. Even something as simple as the symbolism of the diamonds gives you an edge. The situation and meaning of this song is also one I find more touching, and personally closer to my heart.
Author's Response:
Hey, thanks for giving me a second listen. ^_^ Glad this song reached out to you, and all I can say is good luck to your story.
